Ryan Unzicker races into eighth-annual Gateway Dirt Nationals at The Dome
Once again competing in the annual Gateway Dirt Nationals, Ryan Unzicker rolled into The Dome at America's Center (St. Louis, Mo.) on Thursday afternoon for his preliminary night before motor issues prevented him from competing. Unzicker was able to switch preliminary nights and race on Friday evening.
Racing his way into the evening's preliminary feature through a B-Main, Unzicker made up seven spots in the 25-lap race to record a Top-10 outing in 10th.
Unzicker started third in a qualifier on Saturday where he would take the checkered flag and earn a fourth-row starting spot for the finale. Ryan fell back in the $30,000-to-win feature and finished 15th.
