Early exit in Brownstown 100
Ryan Unzicker’s rain-shortened weekend with the MARS Late Model Championship Series kicked off Friday at the Brownstown Bullring for the annual Brownstown 100.
After securing a heat race win to lock into the $10,000-to-win A-Main, Unzicker’s night came to a disappointing end on lap 24 when he was collected behind a wreck car, forcing him to retire early from the event.
Saturday’s scheduled stop at Peoria Speedway was postponed to September 27.
