Unzicker captures FALS Frenzy opener
The MARS Late Model Championship Series wrapped up its 2025 campaign over the weekend, with Ryan Unzicker of El Paso, Illinois, capturing a $5,000 preliminary win in Friday’s FALS Frenzy opener and securing second place in the final points standings.
Unzicker qualified second in his group Friday at Fairbury Speedway before powering to a heat race win. In the 30-lap feature, he took control on lap 16, overtaking Travis Stemler and pulling away for a convincing victory—his sixth win of the season and 16th career MARS triumph.
He capped off the weekend with a third-place finish in Saturday’s $12,000-to-win FALS Frenzy finale, officially sealing runner-up honors in the 2025 MARS points chase.
