Unzicker invades The Dome for Gateway Dirt Nationals
Ryan Unzicker closed out his 2025 season over the weekend, joining the field for the ninth annual Gateway Dirt Nationals inside The Dome at America’s Center.
Rolling onto the floor for his preliminary night on Friday, Unzicker and his team were forced to swap a transmission prior to heat race action after encountering early issues in time trials. The bad luck lingered, with the El Paso, Illinois native getting collected in a multi-car incident and ultimately finishing seventh.
His weekend came to a close on Saturday after competing in a non-qualifier event, where he registered a third-place finish, officially concluding his 2025 campaign.
