Pair of podium finishes at FCR and FALS

Ryan Unzicker stayed close to home over the weekend with a visit to Farmer City Raceway (Farmer City, Ill.) where he raced to a runner-up finish in the feature.

After starting the night off with a heat race win, Ryan chased race-long pacesetter Myles Moos to the checkers in the 25-lap affair.

On Saturday at Fairbury Speedway (Fairbury, Ill.), Unzicker’s eight-lap heat race victory placed him on the second row for the $2,500-to-win FALS Cup. Carrying a steady pace in the 30-lapper, Ryan scored a third-place finish. He followed Jay Sparks and Mike Spatola across the line.
