Top-10 finish in Illini 100 at Farmer City Raceway
Ryan Unzicker made the short 45-minute trip to Farmer City (IL) Raceway over the weekend to compete with the World of Outlaws Late Model Series for the 18th annual Illini 100.
After missing the cut in Friday’s opener, Ryan Unzicker bounced back in impressive fashion during Saturday’s Illini 100 finale at Farmer City Raceway.
Showing marked improvement, Unzicker clocked the third-fastest time in his qualifying group and followed it up with a runner-up finish in his heat race. He went on to secure a solid eighth-place finish in the $20,000-to-win main event, capping off the weekend on a high note.
