Unzicker finishes three-day MARS weekend with seventh-place outing in Slocum 50
Coming off the World of Outlaws weekend, Ryan Unzicker made a quick turnaround for the MARS Championship Late Model Series tripleheader in the state of Iowa.
Starting off the weekend at Cedar County Raceway (Tipton, Iowa) on Thursday, Unzicker finished third in his heat race and recorded a 22nd-place finish in the $5,000-to-win opener.
Primed for two days at 34 Raceway (West Burlington, Iowa), Unzicker missed the Friday night show but made up for it on Saturday evening as he stormed forward from 19th in the 50-lap, $10,555-to-win finale and scored a Top-10 finish in seventh.
