Ryan Unzicker fourth in Fairbury’s FALS Cup opener

Ryan Unzicker made the short drive to Fairbury (Ill.) Speedway on Saturday for the $2,500 to win FALS Cup season opener.

With 20 DIRTcar Late Models signed in for competition, Unzicker timed in fourth overall in time trials with a 12.714 second lap around “America’s Dirt Track”.

Earning the outside pole for the 30-lap feature via a heat race victory, Unzicker took command on the opening circuit and led the opening ten circuits before taking the checkered flag in fourth.
